Friendly greetings from the Home Page of FroHG
- the Friends of the Haenertsburg Grasslands.
We are a group of volunteers based in Haenertsburg, Limpopo Province, and dedicated to conserving the most important grassland biome in Limpopo.

These Woodbush Granite Grasslands are the highest conservation priority in Limpopo Province (according to SANBI, the South African National Biodiversity Institute).

They are also classified as "Totally Irreplaceable", along with most of the Fynbos.
The largest continuous piece, about 190 ha, is the section known as the Haenertsburg Townlands.  However our focus extends to the numerous smaller bits scattered on both public and private lands in the Magoebaskloof / Haenertsburg mountains.
You can read more about FroHG in the section "About Us".

UPDATE April 2012
